Coaching Staff
Save for a blip in the 1980-81 season
in which Bryan Watson took over behind the bench for 18
games,

from a talented young club with plenty of potential to a
Stanley Cup dynasty. Sather, who had been a
hard-working, defensive forward throughout his career,
instilled in his young charges the work ethic needed to
translate talent into championships.
