 On the ice, the Edmonton Oilers are
an example of what is achievable
when talented men
work together towards a single goal. The same philosophy
rings true away from the rink, as well. Oiler players
are encouraged and expected to give back to the community
that supports the team. Usually, the players never need to be pushed. Every man who has been a part of
the dressing room understands the role they have in the
city. And their commitments to Edmonton do not end when
they move on to another town. Even the greatest Oiler
ever, Wayne
Gretzky, returns to do charity work in the
River City.
