NHL Awards

Every year the National Hockey League (NHL) invites elite players to celebrate the season’s accomplishments and present awards to players for their outstanding skills and contributions to their teams. Player and coaching awards bring prestige and recognition to each recipient of  his team. Over the years the Oilers have not only won five Stanley Cups, but there have been many Oiler alumni honoured by the NHL.

This section analyses the significance of each award and highlights Oiler players and coaches whose regular season accomplishments have earned them the thrill of seeing their name engraved on one of these awards.
